The Man Behind the Mission

Matt Meier

A Francis Howell North graduate and Lindenwood University Baseball alumnus (2012–2025), Matt was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 30th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He founded Premier Sports Academy in 2020 to give every serious baseball and softball athlete access to the same measurable, college-level development he spent two decades inside of himself.

At Lindenwood, Matt has served as Pitching Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, Director of Operations, and Director of Analytics — the backbone of the data-driven, recruiting-forward approach that now defines Premier.

As former Director of Recruiting for Team Italy, Matt helped bridge the gap for European players competing in the U.S., having worked alongside Mike Piazza and Hall of Fame softball coach Mike Candrea. He also partnered with the CPBL, the PBLO, and the Fergie Jenkins Showcase League in Canada.

The result: 500+ athletes moved on to play college baseball and softball under Matt's direct development and recruiting support.
